Senator Darren Bailey calls on leaders to address rising crime in Chicago
Chicago—State Senator and Republican frontrunner, Darren Bailey addressed a crowd of media Wednesday following a shooting in Chicago.
“When is this nonsense going to stop? Where is Mayor Lightfoot? Where is J.B. Pritzker? Where is the support for the fine men and women in blue that need to be able to do their jobs and be able to stand up and protect the people of this city?” Darren asked on the unprecedented crime levels in Chicago.
He continued, “The men and women in blue need to have support. They need to have support of the leaders of this state and the leaders of this city. And I urge you to stand up and demand that.”
