Friend,

We kicked off September with some wonderful Labor Day parades and had the chance to meet up with hardworking volunteers from Schaumburg, Palestine, and Frankfort. None of this would be possible without the countless hours wonderful folks dedicate to Darren’s campaign. I can tell you firsthand how grateful he is for each and every one of you!

Another highlight of the month was the Kane County Farmers Breakfast. It’s always a delight to be around fellow farmers and talk about the issues that matter most to rural Illinois.

And as we continue traveling across the state, it’s becoming clearer than ever that J.B. Pritzker is out of touch with everyday Illinois families. As Darren always says, J.B. inherited a fortune, and we inherited his bills. He’s never had to put something back at the grocery store because he’s worried about the next electric bill. But we have. We know what it’s like to stretch a dollar and make tough choices.

That’s why we’re fighting for you, my sweet friends!

Blessings,

Cindy Bailey

If it seems like the world is getting crazier by the day, you’re right. Our way of life is under attack, my friends.

Radical Democrats want to defund the police, abolish the nuclear family, and create a system where we depend on the government for everything. It’s a far cry from the vision our Founding Fathers had in mind, and if it doesn’t motivate you to get out and VOTE, I don’t know what will!

If J.B. Pritzker pulls this thing off, he’ll be the second governor in our state’s history to be handed a third term. The idea of that should make you shake in your boots. Isn’t it time for a change?

Early voting has already kicked off and Election Day is November 3. Call your family and friends, spread the word on social media, and let’s do this for Illinois!

Together, we can be the change we want to see in our beautiful state. ♥️

If you’re a native Illinoisan, you already know our state has some unique claims to fame, including the official title of “Pumpkin Capital of the World.” 🎃

Just a few hours outside of Chicago is Morton, home of the Libby factory. That means 85 percent of the world’s canned pumpkin comes straight from this sweet little town.

And now, Morton has made it official. Just the other week, the town unveiled a new marker from the Illinois State Historical Society commemorating Morton’s history as the “Pumpkin Capital of the World.”

It’s a fun piece of Illinois history, but it’s also a reminder of the incredible businesses, farmers, and families that make our state special. Next time you have a slice of pumpkin pie, remember there’s a good chance a little piece of it came from right here in Illinois! 🥧

Located in the heart of Downtown Freeport, Flair Boutique is an adorable little spot owned by the amazing Kelly Chesney, wife of State Senator Andrew Chesney. They offer a wide range of clothes, accessories, and even beauty items! The best part? Flair Boutique is upscale while still being affordable. Don’t miss out on this special place the next time you’re in or near Freeport. It’s a must-visit if you’re looking to add something new to your closet.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Revelation 21:4

Our daughter shared this verse recently, and what a wonderful reminder it was! God tells us in His Word that we will have trouble in this life here on earth, but for those who love Him, our suffering is temporary. He is preparing a place where there will be no more tears, sadness, and pain. Praise the Lord for that!

Hold tight to His promises, my friends. They are true, even in the hardest seasons.

From apple picking to football games, there’s so much to love about this time of year. What’s your favorite family tradition?
